Sylvia Park is less than 20 minutes by train from Britomart and just over half an hour from Papakura.  Four trains per hour stop at Sylvia Park during peak times, with half-hourly services during the day (including Saturdays) and hourly services on Sundays.

Sylvia Park has two permanent taxi stands, one located adjacent to the Foodtown entry off Mt. Wellington Highway, and the other on the upper deck of the PAK’nSAVE car park.  An extra taxi stand will be made available after 6pm located near the Dining Lane.
